Construction Project Manager – Hotel Renovations

About the role

Hotel Rehabs is seeking an energetic and skilled Construction Project Manager to lead hotel renovation and tenant‑improvement projects across the United States. The role covers the full project lifecycle—from scope development and design through construction, close‑out, and post‑project follow‑up—ensuring brand standards, quality, and contract expectations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scope of work, design documents and detailed project schedules.
• Manage pre‑construction, construction, and close‑out phases, coordinating APMs, superintendents, subcontractors and vendors.
• Monitor budgets, resolve scheduling challenges and maintain accurate project records.
• Prepare and manage AIA documents, RFIs, submittals and change‑order logs.
• Create room‑out‑of‑order matrices, punch‑list tracking and final budget analysis.
• Coordinate FF&E receipt, inventory control and material logistics.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of ownership as a Project Manager on hotel renovations or occupied‑space tenant‑improvement projects.
• Strong communicator who builds relationships with clients, superintendents and field teams.
• Proactive problem‑solver able to stay ahead of schedule and budget pressures.
• Detail‑oriented with precise record‑keeping and documentation skills.

Required skills

• Building phasing and project scheduling.
• Critical path development and schedule adaptation.
• Reading construction plans and performing take‑offs.
• Proficiency with AIA documents, RFIs and submittals.
• Estimating and change‑order management.
• Punch‑list creation and management.
• FF&E coordination and material inventory.
