Construction Project Manager – GC MEP

About the role

CEG Solutions LLC seeks a technically sharp, field‑savvy Construction Project Manager to lead complex energy (MEP) retrofit and performance contract projects from kickoff through commissioning and handoff. This hands‑on role involves managing multi‑discipline subcontractor teams, owning schedules and budgets, and ensuring performance guarantees are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of Energy Conservation Measures, including HVAC retrofits, controls upgrades, central plant, electrical and mechanical/plumbing systems.
• Prepare and manage detailed project schedules, control budgets, approve expenditures, and process subcontractor draw requests.
• Oversee Measurement & Verification plans, commissioning protocols, and post‑implementation O&M handoffs.
• Manage Associate Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractor field personnel while maintaining client relationships.

Required profile

• 5+ years of construction project management or project engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience with MEP systems, especially HVAC, building controls, electrical distribution, and central utilities.
• Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
• OSHA‑30 certification and ability to travel up to 50‑60% annually.
