Construction Estimator

About the role

Rawls Construction Inc. is seeking a proactive Construction Estimator who can anticipate issues before they arise on the field. The ideal candidate will combine deep estimating expertise with a keen eye for detail to protect project margins and ensure accurate budgeting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop precise, detailed budgets for residential and commercial projects.
• Review construction plans to identify missing scope, conflicts, and coordination issues.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain real‑time pricing.
• Support project strategy, pricing, and deal structure decisions.
• Maintain margin protection through clear documentation and foresight.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to meet project and company objectives.

Required profile

• Strong experience in construction estimating for residential and/or commercial projects.
• Ability to confidently read construction plans and spot scope gaps.
• Detail‑obsessed mindset with a focus on risk, sequencing, and constructability.
• Fast, organized, and responsive work style.
• Self‑starter who takes ownership without needing hand‑holding.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $130,000+ per year.
