Construction Coordinator

About the role

Wilson Construction Company is seeking a self‑motivated Construction Coordinator to support utility transmission line projects across the Western United States. This entry‑level, field‑based position will be based primarily at project field offices and will involve travel to multiple sites from Ely, NV to Twin Falls, ID.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and Schedulers with administrative tasks and daily status reporting.
• Prepare three‑day and five‑day look‑ahead schedules.
• Generate Requests for Information (RFIs), transmittals, and submittals.
• Schedule material deliveries and track shipments.
• Support invoice approval for materials.
• Track and report equipment and vehicle usage within right‑of‑way areas.
• Maintain project spreadsheets and provide overall support to all departments.
• Deliver paperwork and perform on‑site errands as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑motivated, independent worker who contributes to team success.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with Microsoft Project (preferred).
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 (a plus).
