COMSEC/EKMS Manager

About the role

GDIT is seeking a COMSEC/EKMS Manager to oversee a classified communications security account. The role involves managing telecommunications systems, ensuring compliance with COMSEC and EKMS standards, and supporting agency operations with secure key management.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, administer, and maintain telecommunications systems and related vendor services.
• Manage and supervise communications support personnel.
• Provide end‑user training on telecommunications features and functionality.
• Lead hands‑on installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of communications equipment.
• Generate and distribute electronic cryptographic keys from national and service‑level sources to End Cryptographic Units (ECU).
• Maintain system databases, compile performance reports, and ensure compliance with COMSEC/KMI/EKMS standards.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
• Minimum 1 + years of related experience in communications security or telecommunications.
• Lead‑level hands‑on experience with installation, repair, and troubleshooting of communications systems.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and exercise independent judgment.
• Relevant certifications such as Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and Security+ (or ability to meet SPIN‑C certification requirements).
