Computer Tomography Technologist (PRN)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Computer Tomography (CT) Technologist on a PRN (as‑needed) basis to support diagnostic imaging services at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. This temporary fixed‑term position offers flexible shift coverage to meet patient demand.

Key responsibilities

• Perform CT scans according to physician orders, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Operate CT equipment, adjust protocols, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with radiation safety regulations.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to coordinate care.

Required profile

• Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.

• Operation of computer tomography equipment.
• Radiation safety and dose management.
