About the role
The Texas A&M University System Offices are seeking a Compliance Officer II to support the Research Security Office. This position monitors and facilitates compliance with federal, state, and system regulations governing Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in research activities.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive CUI compliance program.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and TAMU regulatory standards.
- Identify compliance vulnerabilities and implement corrective action plans.
- Prepare and deliver regular compliance reports and serve on relevant committees.
- Coordinate CUI compliance efforts with sponsors, faculty, and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of experience in compliance programs or related activities.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a government security clearance.
Required skills
- Knowledge of word processing applications.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet software.
- Experience using database applications.
