Compassionate Dentist for Community Health Center

About the role

ChesPenn seeks a talented, compassionate dentist to provide comprehensive dental care to the diverse patient population of its community health center in Chester, PA. The role involves delivering a full range of services, from preventive care to complex procedures, in a busy, multicultural ambulatory setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dental care across pedodontics, periodontics, removable and fixed prosthodontics, endodontics, oral medicine, and operative dentistry.
• Maintain confidentiality of clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
• Coordinate care with managed‑care agencies, commercial providers, and community organizations.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and staff meetings.
• Achieve productivity standards based on patient volume and professional services rendered.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited dental school.
• At least two years of ambulatory‑care or FQHC experience (preferred).
• Current unrestricted Pennsylvania dental license and DEA certification.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in pedodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral medicine, and operative dentistry.
• Ability to collect patient data, interpret oral findings, and manage or refer cases as needed.
• Cultural competence and understanding of community‑health principles.
