Compassionate Caregiver – Part‑Time

About the role

Join Commonwise as a Caregiver in Charleston, providing essential support to clients so they can live safely, independently, and with dignity. This part‑time position offers flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with clients and their families.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and feeding.
• Support Instrumental Activities of Daily Living including light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and engaging in hobbies.
• Advocate for clients within the community and provide reliable, consistent support.

Required profile

• Compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to helping others thrive.
• Physically able to lift, push, or pull 20–50 lb and perform frequent bending.
• Strong communication, auditory and visual skills with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in basic caregiving tasks (ADLs and IADLs).
