Community Response & Engagement Specialist

About the role

This position focuses on shaping digital reputation and community engagement for a mission‑driven organization serving global audiences. You will monitor online conversations, identify emerging issues, and ensure accurate information is shared across public platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor online discussions across platforms such as Reddit, Google, Yelp, LinkedIn and other relevant digital communities.
• Identify high‑visibility conversations, recurring questions, customer concerns and emerging trends that could affect public perception.
• Provide clear, factual responses aligned with approved messaging and organizational guidelines.
• Correct misinformation, outdated or misleading information to protect brand credibility.
• Assess reputational risks and escalate issues to internal stakeholders such as customer service, communications, legal, policy or leadership teams.
• Direct audiences to official resources, documentation, FAQs and support channels.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, product and customer‑experience teams to share insights and improve content and messaging.
• Maintain a professional and respectful digital presence while following engagement and escalation processes.

Required profile

• Experience in online community engagement, digital communications or reputation management.
• Excellent written communication and sound judgment.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with marketing, communications, product and customer‑experience teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, a related field or equivalent professional experience.
