Community Manager – The Overlook Walnut Creek

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of The Overlook, a stabilized mid‑rise property with 285 units in Walnut Creek, California. Reporting to senior management, you will lead the on‑site team, ensure resident satisfaction, and drive financial performance in line with Greystar’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident services.
• Lead and develop on‑site staff, scheduling daily activities and monitoring performance.
• Analyze financial statements, assist in budget preparation, and track key performance indicators to meet budgeted goals.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain high standards of property appearance, safety, and community engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant property management experience, preferably in multi‑family housing.
• Proven ability to manage teams and deliver operational results.
