Community Manager – South Portland

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to support the launch and ongoing operation of a new residential property in the South Portland area. The role focuses on the financial and operational management of the community, ensuring accurate accounting, timely rent collection, and smooth day‑to‑day financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments.
• Prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile bank accounts.
• Process invoices, execute payments, and manage vendor relationships.
• Maintain monthly close‑out procedures and generate financial reports.
• Perform bank dispositions, account reconciliations, and cash handling.
• Utilize property management software to record, track, and report all financial activities.

Required profile

• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping within a property management environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in preparing accurate financial statements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with on‑site staff and external vendors.
