Community Manager – Sierra Junction

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee daily operations of the Sierra Junction apartment community in Colorado Springs. This position is responsible for managing staff, financial performance, resident satisfaction, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the property budget, analyze financial statements, and ensure revenue targets are met.
• Oversee rent collection, invoice approval, petty cash, and monthly financial reporting.
• Supervise leasing activities, including application approvals, lease renewals, rent adjustments, and enforcement actions.
• Implement marketing and leasing strategies based on market trends to achieve occupancy goals.
• Maintain resident satisfaction by addressing complaints, service requests, and ensuring timely maintenance response.
• Conduct regular property inspections to uphold safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic standards.
• Hire, train, and evaluate property staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Manage owner relationships through regular updates, property tours, and responsive communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Real Estate or related field preferred.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution and customer‑service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Competence in Internet, word processing, spreadsheet and database management programs.
