Community Manager – Ray Harlem

About the role

This position oversees the daily operations of an assigned property, leading the on‑site team and managing resources to meet financial and operational targets while ensuring compliance with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing property budgets by analyzing financial statements, market data and operational reports.
• Achieve revenue targets by setting rent rates, collecting rent and fees, processing bank deposits and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly and coordinate with accounting.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, rent discounts, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions and collection of late fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends, and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue.

Required profile

• Experience managing day‑to‑day property operations.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other multi‑family housing regulations.
