Community Manager (Part‑time)

About the role

Adaptive Teams is seeking a part‑time Community Manager to nurture and grow a vibrant community of entrepreneurs, creators, and conscious leaders in Austin. You will be the friendly face that welcomes attendees, builds authentic relationships, and helps turn one‑time participants into lifelong members.

Key responsibilities

• Attend and represent the community at events, dinners, and gatherings.
• Make new attendees feel comfortable, included, and connected.
• Facilitate introductions between members who can benefit from each other.
• Engage with the community on Instagram through messages, comments, tags, and posts.
• Welcome new followers and continue conversations after events.
• Check in with members between gatherings to strengthen relationships.
• Celebrate member milestones and contributions.
• Identify potential volunteers, ambassadors, hosts, partners, and community leaders.
• Gather feedback and share ideas to improve the community.

Required profile

• Based in Austin and able to attend regular in‑person events.
• Warm, approachable, and relationship‑focused.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• High emotional intelligence and genuine empathy.
• Highly organized, dependable, and proactive.
• Passionate about entrepreneurship, personal growth, and community building.
