Community Manager - Los Angeles

About the role

Greystar, a global leader in real‑estate investment and property management, is seeking a Community Manager for an 88‑unit stabilized property in Los Angeles. The role oversees daily operations, staff, budgeting and resident relations to meet financial and operational targets while ensuring compliance with housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise property staff and coordinate daily activities.
• Develop and monitor the property budget, analyze financial statements and adjust rent rates to meet revenue goals.
• Collect rent, process deposits, and prepare monthly financial status reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and manage petty‑cash expenditures.
• Enforce lease terms, approve resident applications, conduct inspections, issue notices, and manage evictions and late‑fee collections.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other applicable regulations.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years experience as a Community Manager, preferably in affordable housing.
• Strong knowledge of multi‑family housing laws and regulations.
• Ability to analyze budgets and financial performance.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
