Community Manager – Garden‑Stage Property

About the role

The Community Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of a stabilized garden‑stage property with 264 units. This includes leading the on‑site team, overseeing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with all relevant housing laws and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the property budget, set rent rates, collect rent and fees, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate payments while staying within budget constraints.
• Oversee lease enforcement, approve applications, conduct inspections, handle evictions, and collect late fees.
• Analyze market trends and implement leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Maintain resident satisfaction by responding promptly to complaints and service requests.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and appearance standards.
• Hire, train, and supervise property staff, managing performance in line with company values.
• Maintain owner relationships through regular updates, tours, and performance reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and customer‑service skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and capable of working both independently and as a team leader.

Required skills

• All required state and local licenses/certifications for property management.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on‑site.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management tools.
• Experience with property‑management software such as Entrata, Yardi, or OneSite.
• Management and supervisory abilities to hire, lead, evaluate, and direct staff.
