Maintenance Supervisor – Garden-Style Community

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the technical and mechanical upkeep of a garden-style, stabilized community of 264 units. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make-ready” process for vacant units, including pre-move-out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, ordering supplies and inspecting completed work.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Conduct periodic inspections of work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure quality, scope and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, coordinating with the Community Manager to order supplies within budget.
• Participate in on-call rotation and adhere to the Monday-Friday 8 am‑5 pm schedule.

Required profile

• Experience supervising maintenance operations in a residential community.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and coordinate repairs.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and vendor scheduling.
