Community Manager for Verde Vista Apartment Community

About the role

The Community Manager oversees day‑to‑day operations of the Verde Vista mid‑rise apartment community, leading staff, managing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and other regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and set rent rates to meet revenue targets.
• Collect rent, process bank deposits, approve vendor invoices, and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Enforce lease terms, approve resident applications, handle renewals, evictions, and late‑fee collections.
• Analyze market trends and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy goals.
• Respond to resident inquiries, resolve complaints, and drive satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
• Hire, train, and supervise property staff, evaluating performance according to company policies.
• Maintain owner relationships through regular updates, property tours, and addressing owner requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant property‑management experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and customer‑service skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Competence in internet, spreadsheet, and database‑management tools.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on‑site.
