Community Manager for Beacon 85 Property

About the role

We are looking for a Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Beacon 85 property. The role combines property management, budgeting and resident engagement to ensure the community runs smoothly and meets financial targets. The manager will lead the on‑site team, coordinate daily activities and ensure compliance with all company policies and relevant laws.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and managing the property budget by reviewing financial statements and market data.
• Achieve revenue goals by setting rent rates, collecting payments, processing deposits and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code expenses and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Control expenditures within the approved budget and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease administration, including application approvals, renewals, rent discounts, inspections, notices, evictions and collection of late fees.
• Monitor market trends and implement short‑ and long‑term leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue objectives.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention through responsive service and community initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of resident communications and lease documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to keep the property in optimal condition.

Required profile

• Experience in property or community management with a focus on financial performance.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other multi‑family housing regulations.
• Strong analytical skills for budgeting, reporting and market analysis.
• Ability to manage a team and communicate effectively with residents and owners.
