About the role
Greystar is seeking a Community Manager for its East Bay portfolio in San Jose. The role oversees daily property operations, leads the on‑site team, and ensures the community runs smoothly while meeting financial and compliance targets.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the assigned property, including staffing, maintenance coordination, and resident services.
- Lead and develop team members, schedule work, and handle on‑call duties from Tuesday through Saturday.
- Monitor and report on budget performance, analyze financial statements, and support budget development.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Greystar policies.
- Collaborate with marketing and leasing teams to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
- 1‑2 years of relevant property or community management experience.
- Strong understanding of multi‑family housing operations and regulatory requirements.
