Community Manager – Brookside/Ygnacio Village

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee daily operations of the Brookside/Ygnacio Village apartment community, leading staff and ensuring financial and operational goals are met while maintaining compliance with housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the property’s budget, set rent rates, collect fees, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, oversee petty cash, and ensure proper insurance documentation.
• Supervise leasing activities, including application approvals, lease renewals, inspections, evictions, and fee collection.
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy targets.
• Address resident concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and appearance standards.
• Hire, train, and evaluate property staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Maintain owner relationships through regular updates, tours, and responsive communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or related field.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing, or customer service experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with database and spreadsheet management for reporting.
