Community Manager – Avana Heather Ridge

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Avana Heather Ridge property, leading the on‑site team to meet financial and operational objectives while ensuring compliance with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the property budget by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges and coordinate with accounting.
• Maintain petty cash and control expenditures within approved limits.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions and collection of fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends to create short‑ and long‑term leasing and marketing strategies.
• Promote resident satisfaction and address community concerns.

Required profile

• Experience managing a multifamily property or similar real‑estate asset.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other multifamily housing regulations.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret financial and market data.
