Community Assistant (Student Living) – Part Time

About the role

The Community Assistant supports the property management team at Landmark Student Living in Ann Arbor, helping to achieve occupancy and resident retention goals. This part‑time position involves a mix of administrative, leasing and customer‑service duties within a vibrant student‑focused community. You will work closely with the leasing office to ensure smooth operations and a positive resident experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily office tasks such as copying, filing resident files, preparing notices and handling resident phone calls.
• Organize rent payments and related documentation.
• Assist the leasing team by responding to online inquiries, conducting virtual tours, greeting and qualifying prospects, and leading in‑person property tours.
• Prepare lease paperwork, generate required documents and ensure all leasing files are accurately maintained.
• Support marketing activities aimed at promoting available units and community events.

Required profile

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents and prospective tenants.
• Ability to work part‑time in an on‑site environment.
