Communications Intern – Videography & Digital Media

About the role

The United Nations Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies (UNODET) is seeking a Communications Intern focused on videography and digital media. You will help amplify UNODET’s work on digital cooperation through compelling visual storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Capture high‑quality video content at global conferences, UN engagements, and events.
• Film behind‑the‑scenes moments that illustrate UNODET initiatives and partnerships.
• Edit short‑form, social‑first videos for platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Bluesky and X.
• Support the communications team in producing multimedia assets that highlight digital cooperation projects.
• Assist with recording video and audio for interviews and presentations.

Required profile

• Current student or recent graduate in communications, media production, or a related field.
• Portfolio or examples of previous video work (mandatory for application).
• Ability to work in dynamic, fast‑paced environments and handle confidential UN events.

Required skills

• Videography – filming in varied settings.
• Video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable software.
• Familiarity with social‑media video formats and specifications.
