Communications Advisor / Senior

About the role

Serve as the subject‑matter expert for developing, planning, and executing the Bank’s communication strategy. Lead the creation of effective communication programs that promote engagement and understanding of Bank and department goals, high‑priority initiatives, and stakeholder viewpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Advise key stakeholders on communication strategies for high‑priority projects and oversee additional initiatives.
• Create and execute communication tactics targeting Bank leadership and employees.
• Write and review deliverables across multiple media formats.
• Develop measurement strategies to assess communication effectiveness.
• Build collaborative partnerships with Federal Reserve System colleagues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date web content and communication materials.
• Lead comprehensive communication plans for the Supervision, Credit Risk, and Statistics (SCS) department.
• Solve complex, organization‑wide communication challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, marketing, journalism, or business (Master’s acceptable for senior level).
• Minimum 7 years of related experience (10 years for senior level or Master’s with 7 years).
• Experience working in a matrixed communications environment.

Required skills

• Data‑analytics techniques to measure communication impact.
• Content‑management platforms (Sitecore experience a plus).
• Intranet utilization for employee engagement.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Project‑management expertise.
• Design tools such as Canva and Photoshop (optional).

What we offer

• Salary range: $100,300 – $125,400 for Communications Advisor; $123,700 – $154,600 for Senior level (annual, USD).
