Commercial Solutions Engineer – West Coast

About the role

Dash0 is looking for a Commercial Solutions Engineer to serve as a trusted technical advisor for its largest customers and prospects on the West Coast. In this fully remote position you will bridge product capabilities with real‑world enterprise outcomes, delivering high‑impact proofs of concept and guiding observability architecture discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native technologies.
• Translate complex customer requirements into scalable Dash0 implementations.
• Develop and execute proofs of concept that showcase Dash0’s differentiated technical capabilities.
• Deliver engaging technical demos and presentations for engineering and executive audiences.
• Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to position Dash0 as the preferred technical solution.
• Provide architecture guidance on observability setup, telemetry data modeling, and OpenTelemetry collector design.
• Create and maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates.
• Contribute to technical content such as blog posts, conference talks, and documentation.

Required profile

• Deep technical knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing.
• Hands‑on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices.
• Proven ability to create and execute technical demos, architectures, and POCs that demonstrate business value.
• Excellent technical communication skills for explaining complex observability concepts to engineers and decision‑makers.
• Collaborative mindset and problem‑solving instinct.
