About the role
Offit Kurman is seeking a senior commercial real estate attorney to join its Charlotte office. This role offers an entrepreneurial attorney the chance to grow their practice within a collaborative, business‑focused firm.
Key responsibilities
- Represent clients in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, disclosure agreements, development agreements, and commercial leases.
- Conduct significant contract review, drafting, and negotiation.
- Manage transactions from inception to closing with extensive client contact and minimal supervision.
Required profile
- Licensed and in good standing in North Carolina (South Carolina bar preferred).
- 8+ years of commercial real estate experience, especially with complex transactions.
Required skills
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities.
