About the role
Offit Kurman, a full‑service Am Law 200 firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate for its Charlotte, North Carolina office. The ideal candidate will have 5‑15 years of litigation experience and a strong interest in building a long‑term commercial litigation career.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage all phases of litigation, from pleadings through trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and discovery responses.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and maintain client communications.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys across practice areas in a team‑oriented environment.
Required profile
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school and admission to the North Carolina bar.
- 5‑15 years of litigation experience, preferably with landlord representation, real estate litigation, or property management.
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills; motivated, hardworking, and eager to learn.
