About the role
The Commercial Lending Relationship Manager will drive growth of the bank’s commercial portfolio by selling business products and services, evaluating credit risk, and managing loan documentation. This position combines sales acumen with strong credit analysis to serve existing clients and acquire new business.
Key responsibilities
- Sell commercial banking products and services to prospects and existing customers through calls, referrals and networking.
- Analyze creditworthiness of commercial borrowers and recommend credit extensions.
- Develop sales proposals, coordinate commitment letters and deliver presentations.
- Cross‑sell additional bank services and maintain strong client relationships.
- Oversee preparation of legal documents for loan closings and manage collateral documentation.
- Monitor loan portfolio risk, address delinquency and take actions to minimize credit exposure.
- Collaborate with operational and technical teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in community and professional organizations to promote the bank.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience as a commercial lender.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable personal transportation for frequent travel.
- Regular, predictable attendance.
