Commercial GL and BI Adjuster

About the role

Davies North America is seeking an experienced Commercial General Liability and Bodily Injury Adjuster to investigate and settle casualty claims. This desk‑based position requires deep knowledge of standard GL policies and the ability to manage claims from intake through resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Establish timely contact with insureds, claimants, attorneys and other parties to gather loss facts.
• Assess coverage, identify potential issues and determine liability for third‑party claims.
• Document damages, manage field inspections, and oversee loss estimates.
• Handle and settle bodily injury and litigated claims, including reviewing and issuing claim tenders.
• Maintain claim files, notes, correspondence and a claim diary throughout the claim life.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of commercial claims handling experience, including bodily injury.
• Valid multi‑line Adjuster’s license, driver’s license and current adjuster licensure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to type reports and other correspondence efficiently.
