Commercial Contracts Attorney (Remote, CA Preferred)

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Contracts Attorney to join Axiom’s remote team, supporting clients on a broad range of commercial contracting matters while gaining deeper expertise in the life sciences sector.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts.
• Advise clients on commercial contracting issues.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys on life‑sciences contracts, including clinical trials and R&D work.
• Build trusted client relationships in a remote, client‑facing environment.
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture while expanding life‑sciences knowledge.

Required profile

• Approximately 5–7 years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong background in commercial contracts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Active admission to the California Bar preferred; candidates located in California strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Ability to analyze and advise on contractual risk.
