About the role
We are seeking a co‑op student to join Philips’ Manufacturing Engineering team at our Murrysville, PA facility for a six‑month term (January‑June 2027). The role provides hands‑on experience in production line set‑up, equipment maintenance and process validation for our Hospital Patient Monitoring business.
Key responsibilities
- Support production line set‑up and equipment troubleshooting.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and validation protocols within the Philips Quality System.
- Collaborate with quality, R&D, industrialization and equipment stakeholders throughout product development.
Required profile
- Pursuing a BS or MS in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities and detail‑oriented work style.
- Experience through coursework, internships or prior co‑ops.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with Python or other programming languages.
- Understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820.
