Cloud Infrastructure Architect – Houston

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join its Cloud unit in Houston, Texas. You will work on designing, implementing and optimizing secure, scalable cloud environments for enterprise clients, leveraging Azure, Terraform and Kubernetes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop diagnostic tools, monitoring protocols and perform root‑cause analysis for complex incidents while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive IT infrastructure assessments, identify gaps and risks, and recommend tailored enhancements.
• Create scalable, secure and high‑performance cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Optimize deployment processes, ensure environment readiness, troubleshoot issues and produce deployment documentation.
• Design and enforce robust change‑management procedures to minimise risk during system updates.
• Implement advanced monitoring, capacity planning and performance‑tuning measures to avoid bottlenecks.
• Define and apply security controls, disaster‑recovery strategies and risk assessments.
• Identify automation opportunities, design tools and drive process optimisation across the infrastructure lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise‑level cloud infrastructure design and delivery.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed root‑cause investigations.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration abilities.
• Track record of implementing change‑management and governance frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with performance monitoring, capacity planning and security best practices.
