About the role

The Clinical/Med Lab Scientist will receive and prepare specimens, perform laboratory tests, and provide critical data for diagnosis and treatment. This position supports patient care through accurate testing, quality control, and equipment maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing independently within established time frames.
• Conduct quality control, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting, documenting corrective actions as needed.
• Calibrate, maintain, and monitor analytical equipment and perform phlebotomy procedures when appropriate.
• Adhere to regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, safety guidelines, and proficiency testing protocols.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and manage supply and reagent inventory.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, medical laboratory science, clinical laboratory science, or related scientific field.
• Current Clinical Lab Scientist Generalist license (or obtain within 180 days) and ASCP/AMT/AAB certification within 90 days of hire.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving, and judgment skills.
