Clinical Trainer

About the role

The Clinical Trainer will develop, implement, schedule, and deliver training programs to clinical staff to ensure competency across a multi‑specialty medical practice. This role collaborates with medical providers and unit management to plan and deliver educational curricula.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and deliver training programs for new and existing clinical staff, including general procedures and specialty areas.
• Provide CLIA and OSHA training, ensuring staff stay current on testing procedures and compliance requirements.
• Create and manage an in‑service continuing education schedule, documenting participant records.
• Support Patient Care Technicians in transitioning to Clinical Assistants once licensure is obtained.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of adult instructional experience in a health‑care environment.
• Working knowledge of multi‑specialty office operations and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Three years of patient care and administrative experience, with expert knowledge of medical terminology, equipment, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations.
