Clinical Research Leader – Neurovascular

About the role

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Clinical Research Leader for its Neurovascular team in Irvine, CA. The role will drive the planning, execution, and closure of clinical trials that advance treatments for hemorrhagic and acute ischemic stroke.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage one or several company‑sponsored clinical trials, ensuring compliance with timelines, ICH‑GCP, and internal SOPs.
• Develop and maintain trial documentation such as protocols, informed consents, CRFs, monitoring plans, and investigator brochures.
• Oversee site selection, set‑up, monitoring visits, and closure activities across allocated countries.
• Coordinate investigational device ordering, tracking, and accountability, and manage trial budgets.

Required profile

• Works under minimal supervision while managing complex clinical projects.
• Demonstrates strong collaboration with cross‑functional partners, CROs, IRBs/ECs, and site personnel.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ICH‑GCP regulations and clinical trial compliance.
• Experience creating and reviewing clinical trial documents and data for statistical analysis.
• Ability to manage investigational device logistics and trial material accountability.
