Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Oncology

About the role

Join the oncology pharmacy team at Kingman Regional Medical Center to provide evidence‑based, patient‑centered medication therapy management for individuals fighting cancer. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary clinicians to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective oncology pharmaceutical care throughout the patient’s cancer journey.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and optimize oncology treatment plans, monitor for adverse drug reactions and drug‑drug interactions.
• Provide patient education on chemotherapy, oral oncology agents, and supportive care medications.
• Participate in investigational drug studies and distribution of specialty oncology therapies.
• Collaborate with the WL Nugent Cancer Center and Outpatient Infusion Center staff on medication dispensing and therapy monitoring.
• Precept IPPE/APPE pharmacy students and PGY‑1 residents, and engage in community outreach and health‑fair education.

Required profile

• Graduate of an ACPE‑accredited School of Pharmacy (BS Pharm).
• Licensed in Arizona or eligible for Arizona licensure.
• Completion of an ASHP‑accredited PGY‑1 residency plus BPS Oncology Pharmacist Certification (BCOP), or a PGY‑2 oncology residency, or BCOP alone.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and lift up to 10 lb.
