Clinical Educator

About the role

The Clinical Educator will join the Instructional Development team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) to support the education of health‑care professionals. This position focuses on designing, delivering, and evaluating clinical training programs that enhance patient care and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement clinical education curricula and instructional materials.
• Facilitate classroom, simulation, and bedside teaching sessions.
• Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with faculty, clinicians, and administrative staff to align educational activities with institutional goals.
• Maintain documentation of training outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in a health‑related field or education.
• Experience in clinical teaching or instructional design.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
