Client Partner – Utilities (Richmond, VA)

About the role

The Client Partner for the Utilities vertical at Infosys will be based in Richmond, VA (with coverage extending to Washington, DC). Reporting to senior leadership, the role is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end client relationship, driving new business and ensuring delivery commitments are met for a portfolio valued up to $50 million.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full opportunity lifecycle – prospect, evaluate, propose, and close deals worth $30‑50 M.
• Develop and maintain an account plan that defines relationships, revenue targets, pricing decisions and governance processes.
• Collaborate with Delivery Managers to resolve people‑ or infrastructure‑related issues affecting project delivery.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent projects across different delivery units and ensure consistent client satisfaction.
• Lead go‑to‑market solution initiatives, working with Solutions Leaders to craft customized proposals and drive revenue.
• Conduct market, competitor and client research, prepare presentations, estimates and negotiate contracts.
• Support pre‑sales activities for new business outside the core account scope.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing client relationships and business development in the utilities sector.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee a P&L of $30‑50 M and drive revenue growth.
• Strong collaboration skills with delivery, sales and solution teams.
• Excellent analytical, presentation and negotiation capabilities.
