Client Partner – Retail (Somerset, NJ)

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Client Partner to lead its Retail vertical in Somerset, NJ. You will be the primary point of contact for assigned retail accounts, driving client relationships, business development and delivery assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and build a portfolio of $30‑50M, owning the full opportunity cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure all client commitments are fulfilled.
• Create and govern account plans, including stakeholder mapping, opportunity pipelines and pricing decisions.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and lead client presentations, proposals and commercial negotiations.
• Partner with Delivery Managers to resolve people or infrastructure issues impacting project delivery.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects across different delivery units.
• Drive adoption and revenue generation from Business‑Unit‑sponsored go‑to‑market solutions.
• Work with Solutions Leaders to design tailored solution pitches and ensure successful revenue realization.
• Maintain a comprehensive Account Plan outlining relationships, opportunities, expected revenues and risk mitigation.
• Provide pre‑sales and proposal support for new business opportunities beyond the assigned scope.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience managing large client accounts with P&L responsibility of $30‑50M.
• Strong client relationship management and business development capabilities.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
