Class A CDL Driver – Tanker & Hazmat

About the role

Brenntag is seeking a reliable Class A CDL driver to transport products safely to various locations, including unmanned sites. The role involves operating a truck equipped for tank, drum, and tote deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections on the truck.
• Obey all traffic laws and DOT hours‑of‑service regulations.
• Load and unload totes, drums, equipment, and tanks.
• Complete required shipping paperwork accurately.
• Deliver products to unmanned locations and ensure proper documentation.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Lift, chain, and secure the truck when needed.
• Operate a forklift as required.
• Prioritize safety and work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• GED or high school diploma (preferred).
• Previous truck driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to pass drug screening, physical, and performance tests.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
