Civil Engineer

About the role

A2H, a collaborative planning and design firm, is seeking a Civil Engineer for its Memphis, TN office. The role combines design work with project management oversight on a variety of civil engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide project management oversight and engineering design across all project phases, including design development, presentation drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate project teams, meet with clients, regulators, and agencies, and maintain project documentation such as meeting notes, financial information, and schedules.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews, participate in cost development, scheduling, and support marketing and business development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
• Registered Engineer, preferably licensed in Tennessee, with ability to obtain registration in multiple states.
• Minimum of five years of civil engineering experience.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proficiency with MicroStation.
• Competent use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
