Civil Designer

About the role

A2H is seeking a Civil Designer to join its Memphis office, working on infrastructure and site development projects. This position offers a career growth opportunity for designers looking to start and advance their professional path.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering design on infrastructure and site development projects, including design development, drawing preparation, and specification creation.
• Coordinate team efforts to incorporate design intent into construction documents and oversee construction administration.
• Maintain project documentation such as meeting notes, client correspondence, and schedules.
• Participate in planning, cost development, management, and scheduling for assigned projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in civil design/engineering.
• Completion of the FE Exam preferred and working toward PE licensure.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel.
