Citrix Virtualization Consultant – Wichita, KS

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Citrix Virtualization Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions for clients in the United States. The role involves working with both persistent and non‑persistent environments and supporting on‑premises as well as Citrix Cloud deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy Citrix VDI solutions across on‑prem and cloud platforms.
• Manage VDI lifecycle activities such as updates, upgrades, and patching.
• Migrate users to virtual desktop environments and ensure solution integrity through collaboration with security, networking, and application teams.
• Stay current with EUC and virtualization trends and emerging technologies.
• Provide troubleshooting and analytical support for complex technical issues.

Required profile

• US citizen located within commuting distance of Wichita, KS, or willing to relocate.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
• At least 4 years of IT experience with a focus on Citrix technologies.
• Ability to travel within the US as required.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Citrix CVAD, Citrix Cloud, and Citrix Gateway.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows OS internals.
• PowerShell scripting proficiency.
• Familiarity with Ivanti Application Control and Environment Manager (preferred).
• Understanding of HP Thin Client management (a plus).
