Child Support Services Agent 2

About the role

The Georgia Department of Human Services is seeking a Child Support Services Agent 2 to join its Division of Child Support Services in Atlanta. This position supports the agency’s mission to strengthen families by establishing and enforcing child support obligations for non‑custodial parents.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and enforce child support orders for responsible parents.
• Communicate with clients, courts, legal representatives, and public agencies via phone, email, and in‑person meetings.
• Manage a caseload to ensure timely collection and distribution of child support payments.
• Coordinate child support activities with judicial and community organizations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Ability to work under direct supervision while handling independent case responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
• Organizational skills to manage and track multiple cases effectively.
