Child & Family Therapist

About the role

Children’s Research Triangle (CRT) seeks a full‑time Child & Family Therapist to deliver trauma‑informed therapy to children and families across its Loop clinic and partner sites in the Chicagoland area.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, dyadic, and family therapy.
• Conduct clinical assessments using interviews, observations, and standardized measures.
• Use measurement‑informed care to monitor outcomes and adjust treatment.
• Develop collaborative treatment plans with evidence‑based interventions.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and data entry.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and support systems.
• Participate in supervision and reflective consultation groups.
• Offer psychoeducation and consultation to caregivers and professionals.

Required profile

• Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• At least two years of clinical experience; post‑graduate licensure preferred.
• Experience delivering therapy in clinical and community settings, preferably schools or homes.
• Training in trauma‑informed treatment, child development, and attachment theory.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills strongly encouraged.
