About the role

Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for a full‑time or part‑time position. The role supports Ochsner’s expanding pediatric services and works within a collaborative, family‑centered care model.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and periodic reviews for children and adolescents.
• Provide treatment planning, medication management, and monitor progress toward individual goals.
• Supervise patient care without inpatient call or hospital consult responsibilities.

Required profile

• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Commitment to personalized, family‑centered patient care.
• Ability to collaborate with psychologists, advanced practice professionals, and licensed clinical social workers.
