Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Hospitality

About the role

Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions is seeking a seasoned Chief Operating Officer to lead operational strategy and execution across its multi‑property, multi‑brand hotel portfolio in Uniondale, NY. This senior executive will partner with ownership, corporate leadership, and brand partners to drive performance and guest experience excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational strategy and execution across the hotel portfolio.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to above‑property operations leaders and General Managers.
• Drive property performance focusing on revenue, GOP, NOI, productivity and profitability.
• Partner with Finance and Revenue Management on budgets, forecasts and business plans.
• Develop strong GM and operational leadership pipelines through coaching and succession planning.
• Oversee hotel acquisitions, transitions, openings, renovations and major initiatives.

Required profile

• 10+ years of successful Hotel General Manager experience.
• 10+ years of senior hotel operations leadership experience.
• Significant above‑property leadership experience with multi‑property, multi‑brand portfolios.
• Proven track record of increasing revenue, GOP, NOI and overall hotel performance.
• Strong leadership, coaching, talent development and succession‑planning capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CHA designation or equivalent industry experience preferred.
