Chief Financial Officer – Media Holding

About the role

This senior finance position sits at the heart of an international entertainment and media group that creates, acquires, finances and commercialises intellectual property across film, television, digital media, music and live entertainment. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board, the CFO will shape the financial strategy that underpins the company’s growth and long‑term value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company’s long‑term objectives.
• Partner with the CEO and Board on strategic planning, capital allocation and growth initiatives.
• Lead capital‑raising activities, including debt and equity financing, and maintain relationships with investors, banks and private‑equity partners.
• Oversee mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic investments, including due‑diligence and transaction execution.
• Provide financial oversight for film, TV, digital, music and live‑entertainment projects, managing budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking.
• Develop valuation models for businesses, intellectual‑property assets and content portfolios.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in corporate finance, preferably within media, entertainment or related content industries.
• Proven track record of leading capital‑raising transactions and managing investor relationships.
• Strong understanding of the economics of film, television, digital media and live‑entertainment projects.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership and board members on strategic financial decisions.
